Senator Phil Fortunato - 31st Legislative District
Senator Fortunato currently serves as the 31st District State Senator. He was elected to the House of Representatives in 2016 before being appointed to the Senate. Phil previously served as the 47th District State Representative from 1998 to 2000.
Now an experienced business owner, Senator Fortunato started his first business at 18. Since then, he has run several successful ventures. Phil has over 30 years of experience in erosion control and stormwater management and is an expert in environmental training and environmental regulation. He was also president and founding director of the Pacific Northwest chapter of the International Erosion Control Association.
Phil and his wife of 42 years, Suzanne, reside in Auburn and have five children, many of whom served as U.S Marines.
