Michael Rutland - 30th Legislative District
Michael Rutland is a longtime South King County resident, devoted family man, and community leader running to represent Washington’s 30th Legislative District in the Washington State Senate.
For decades, Michael has served Washington families through his leadership with the Knights of Columbus, where he has held numerous local and statewide leadership roles dedicated to strengthening families, supporting charitable causes, and serving communities across the state.
Professionally, Michael has spent his career helping families plan for the future and protect what matters most. Through that work, he has seen firsthand the challenges facing Washington families—from rising costs and public safety concerns to the need for stronger educational outcomes.
Michael is running because he believes Washington can do better. He is committed to advancing common-sense solutions that make life more affordable, keep communities safe, protect parental rights, and ensure students are prepared to succeed.
