Senator Mark Schoesler - 9th Legislative District
Senator Mark Schoesler serves the 9th legislative district, which is made of six counties including Spokane. After his three terms with the House of Representatives starting in 1993, Schoesler was elected to the Senate in 2004. In total, he has stood by our state for 23 years.
For five generations, Senator Schoesler’s family has owned a farmed in Ritzville and developed a strong loyalty to the 9th legislative district. In addition, he and his wife Ginger raised their family in Adams County.
During his time in session, Senator Schoesler has prioritized fiscal stability and agriculture. He proudly represents the 9th district, from the gorgeous agricultural lands to the public institution of Washington State University.
Over the years, Senator Schoesler has been commended many times for his dedication to Washington State. He has received awards such as Legislator of the Year, the Perseverance Award from the Columbia Basin Development League, the Citizens Alliance for Property Rights 2018 Citizen’s Award, and a number of others.
