I’m Kristina Soltys, a longtime resident of Covington and a proud mother of three.
For more than 20 years, I’ve called this community home and have watched it grow from a small town into the vibrant city it is today.
Like so many families here, I care deeply about what that growth means for our neighborhoods, our schools, our local economy, and the future we’re building together.
For the past seven years, I’ve had the privilege of serving on the Covington City Council, where I’ve worked alongside residents, local businesses, and community leaders to help address the challenges facing our community. That experience has given me a clear understanding of the issues affecting not only Covington, but families across Kent, Auburn, and the surrounding region. Rising costs, public safety concerns, pressure on working families, and uncertainty about the future are real challenges that deserve serious, practical leadership.
At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief: our communities deserve leaders who listen, show up, and take action. As a mom, a councilmember, and a neighbor, I’m committed to fighting for solutions that strengthen families, support local businesses, improve public safety, and restore trust in how government serves people.
I’m running for State Senate because I believe South King County deserves leadership that is grounded in the community and focused on results. This is home, and I believe it’s worth showing up for every single day.
