Senator Judy Warnick - 13th Legislative District

Senator Judy Warnick proudly represents Washington’s 13th Legislative District, which includes Kittitas and Grant counties and parts of Adams and Douglas counties. First elected to the state House of Representatives in 2007, she was elected to the State Senate in 2014 and currently serves as Chair of the Senate Republican Caucus.

A lifelong advocate for agriculture and small business, Senator Warnick grew up on a dairy farm in Deer Park, Washington. She studied at Fort Wright College in Spokane and, along with her husband Roy, has lived in Moses Lake for over 40 years. Together, they own a small business and operate a family farm. They have three grown daughters and eight grandchildren.

In the Senate, Senator Warnick serves as the Ranking Member on the Higher Education & Workforce Development Committee and is a member of the Ways & Means and Human Services committees. She is known for her commitment to policies that support rural communities, agriculture, and economic development.

Senator Warnick has also been deeply involved in her community. She is a past president of the Moses Lake Chamber of Commerce and the Grant County Horse Association, and has served on the Grant County Fair Board and the Washington State 4-H Foundation Board. She is also a member of the Civil Air Patrol.

Her service and leadership have earned her numerous awards, including:

  • 2012 Guardian of Small Business – National Federation of Independent Business
