Senator Jim McCune - 2nd Legislative District
Senator Jim McCune previously served as State Representative and member of the Pierce County Council. When not working on behalf of the people of the 2nd District, Jim runs his small business as a Copper River Salmon provider.
McCune is an active member in his church, Boyscout scoutmaster, and a member of Kiwanis. He is also a Big Brother mentor and has coached high school basketball.
Born and raised in Washington, Jim graduated from Highline High school and is the son of a World War II Veteran. He is the father of three young men.
