Senator Jeff Wilson - 19th Legislative District
Since Senator Jeff Wilson was 10 years old, he has spent his life in the 19th legislative district, which he now represents. He was appointed in 2020 and serves as a Ranking Member of the State Government and Elections Committee. Senator Wilson is also a member of the Housing and Local Government Committee, as well as the Transportation Committee.
Senator Wilson heavily prioritizes bouncing back from the pandemic in a responsible, efficient way. This includes lifting our state out of economic troubles and providing jobs and fiscal opportunities for state citizens.
Prior to his time in the legislature, Senator Wilson has been active in the Longview and Kelso area, namely business opportunities involving sanitation and environmental services. He has participated in a number of community institutions, serving on boards and commissions for organizations such as the Lower Columbia Community Awareness and Emergency Response group.
When not in session, Senator Wilson focuses on his role as commissioner for the Port of Longview, which serves as an extension of his priorities in the legislature. He also spends time with his wife Trisha, with whom he was awarded the key to the city of Longview.
