Carmen Goers - 27th Legislative District

Carmen Goers is first and foremost a neighbor.

She lives in the community she’s running to represent and raised her four daughters here as a single mother. You’ll find Carmen at school events, community fundraisers, local businesses, and neighborhood gatherings—because this isn’t just where she lives, it’s home.

Like many families in the district, Carmen understands the pressure of rising costs, housing challenges, and decisions coming out of Olympia that don’t always reflect real life. She doesn’t approach these issues from a distance—she experiences them alongside her neighbors.

Carmen believes representation should be personal. Leaders should listen first, stay connected, and work with the community—not over it. Guided by values of hard work, accountability, and service, she brings a practical, common-sense approach to leadership.

If elected to the Washington State Senate, Carmen will remain what she’s always been: a neighbor who shows up, listens, and fights for a stronger, safer, and more affordable community.
