Mike Padden was elected to the Senate in a special election in the fall of 2011. A former District Court judge and 7-term state representative, Padden returned to the legislature after the passing of longtime Sen. Bob McCaslin. Mike lives in Spokane Valley with his wife, Laura. They have five boys.
