Dear Friends,

I'm running for the State Senate to rebuild our economy and create jobs.

As a small business owner, I understand we need to do more to create jobs. We need to create a job-friendly environment for small businesses and provide unemployed workers with the training and education they need to compete for 21st century jobs.

We also need to look long-term, which means investing in education. We need to send more money directly to the clasroom, raise standards and increase accountability.

Previously, I served in the Oregon State Senate and Oregon House of Representatives before moving to Vancouver.

I am going to win this campaign by going door-to-door meeting the people of the 49th District and hearing their concerns. I hope to meet and hear from you along the way.
