Senator Jim Honeyford represents the 15th Legislative District.

Honeyford was first elected to the Senate in 1998. He served in the House of Representatives from 1994-1998.

A graduate of Central Washington University, Honeyford worked as an Ellensburg police officer before becoming a teacher. He worked for nearly 30 years as a teacher and coach in the Sunnyside School District.

He and his wife, Jerri, are the parents of four grown children.
