Rep. Bruce Dammeier is running for the State Senate in 2012. Elected to the House in 2008, Bruce has became an instant leader on K-12 education and state spending. A graduate of the US Naval Academy and small business owner, Bruce has a long record of public service. He previously served on the Puyallup School Board and Planning Commission, as well as serving on a number of non-profit boards including UW-Tacoma, Good Samaritan Hospital and Tacoma Goodwill. Bruce lives in Puyallup with his wife Lauren and their three boys.
